There are so many facts, ideas, theores, and so much hogwash when it comes to health and nutrition. But there are a few facts that are indiputable. Theses are facts that all contending parties in the health and nutrition world (physicians, nutritionists, alternative doctors, biochemists, etc,..) cannot disagree on.
Here is fact #1:
The people that eat the Western diet of highly processed, sugar-laden, chemically altered, non food suffer higher rates of the Western diseases of diabetes, heart and coronary disease, joint disease, osteoporosis and cancer. In fact most degenerative diseases, which are responsible for eating up more than 80% of our entire $2 trillion annual health bill, are caused by the Western diet.
